Assesses the challenges adoptive families face post-adoption highlighting gaps in services that support mental health, financial stability, education, and data collection. This dissertation suggests that adoptive families would benefit from more uniform and long-term post-adoption support, including access to mental health care, financial aid, and educational assistance.
