Description

The Transtheoretical Model (TTM)-Based Stress Management Program targets adults who have not been practicing effective stress management for 6 months or longer. TTM’s premise is that behavior changes over time as individuals move through five stages: (1) Precontemplation, (2) Contemplation, (3) Preparation, (4) Action, and (5) Maintenance.

To move through a series of stages when modifying behavior – each stage is variable in length but the tasks required to move to the next stage are not.
