Description
Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) is a crisis prevention and intervention model for residential child care organizations that will assist in: creating a trauma-sensitive environment where staff and children feel safe, preventing crisis from occurring, de-escalating potential crisis, effectively managing acute crisis, reducing potential and actual injury to children and staff, learning constructive ways to handle stressful situations, helping children process the crisis event, and improving childrenÂ’s coping strategies. TCI has materials available in English and Hebrew.
