Description
Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS) is a comprehensive, classroom-based social/emotional learning program for elementary students to reduce aggression and behavior problems. The PATHS curriculum teaches skills in five conceptual domains: self-control, emotional understanding, positive self-esteem, relationships, and interpersonal problem solving.
PATHS is taught two or more times per week for a minimum of 20 -30 minutes per day. The PATHS curriculum is organized into separate grade-specific classroom kits for Pre-K/Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5/6. PATHS is available in English and French.
