The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) is a developmentally-informed, biologically respectful approach to working with at-risk children that helps to organize a childs history and current functioning. NMT is not a specific therapeutic technique or intervention.
Structure assessment of a child; Articulate the primary problems; Identify key strengths and application of interventions that will help best meet the needs of the child.
