The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) is a developmentally-informed, biologically respectful approach to working with at-risk children that helps to organize a child’s history and current functioning. NMT is not a specific therapeutic technique or intervention.
Structure assessment of a child; Articulate the primary problems; Identify key strengths and application of interventions that will help best meet the needs of the child.

California DSS will be receiving on-site technical assistance through the Post-Adoption Center California DSS’ commitment to developing a robust post-permanency program will further their efforts to strengthen adoptive and guardianship families.
Adoption is a lifelong journey. Oregon DHS will begin their journey of receiving on-site technical assistance with the Post-Adoption Center to further their commitment and responsiveness to adoptive, guardianship and kinship families.
The Post-Adoption Center is delighted to collaborate with the Missouri Department of Social Serivces to provide on-site technical assistance. This partnership furthers Missouri’s commitment to supporting families formed through adoption or guardianship.
