Description
Lets Connect (LC) is a parenting intervention that helps caregivers identify and respond to childrens (ages 3 15) emotional needs and behaviors in a way that builds connection and warmth and promotes childrens emotional competence (e.g., emotion regulation, empathy) and sense of emotional security. LC offers individualized training, skills modeling, and live support for skills practice for caregivers over 8 12 (90 minute) weekly sessions. LC is available in English and Spanish.
Providing caregiver education about resilience, social emotional development, child trauma, childrens behavioral challenges, and other topics; Building caregivers social and emotional skills; Teaching caregivers specific skills for interacting with child in a supportive way; Supports caregivers developing intentional environments that integrate rituals and routines.
