Description
Keeping the Promise is a program provided by Baby Fold and is available to any family with a child under 18 years of age who is presenting a special challenge and joined the family through adoption or subsidized guardianship. Keeping the Promise provides the following services to adoptive/guardianship families residing within a 22-county service area in Central Illinois:
– In-home family and individual therapy and consultations
– Support groups for parents and adopted children
– School consultation and advocacy
– Respite resources including Camp Take-A-Break for children ages 6 – 14
– Support in accessing community resources
– Resource library for families and professionals
– Group and individual adult education classes on therapeutic interventions.
