Description
The Adoption Support for Kentucky (ASK) program provides peer-led support groups and training initiatives to all adoptive parents and relative/fictive-kin caregivers. ASK uses facilitators and trainers who have lived experiences with adopting. ASK has specialized support groups available for transracial, and deaf and hard of hearing. ASK also offers training on a variety of adoption-related topics. The support groups and trainings are available virtually.
Strengthen families by reducing caregiver stress and increasing parental competence.
