October Cross-Site Meeting Connections

The Post-Adoption Center held it’s third cross-site meeting on October 29th for sites currently receiving on-site technical assistance. This meeting bought together child welfare professionals from Texas, California, Montana, Missouri, Arizona, Kentucky and Oregon. During this cross-site meetings, participants discussed Engagement with Families Post-Permanency. Child welfare professionals in attendance found the open engagement beneficial as they enjoyed hearing about different strategies to engaging families.

I loved this topic-we really need ideas on how to do outreach. Vermont’s model is very useful as well as Arizona’s model.

      I’d like to know more from sites structured like mine, where post-adoption services are contracted out and how those sites are navigating family engagement.

We Are Recruiting

The Post-Adoption Center is currently recruiting a tribal nation to receive on-site technical assistance. We are also recruiting for states and territories to receive on-site technical assistance in year 3. For more information, complete this form.
